Amazing Love – The Love of Jesus

I was recently listening to a different version of “Amazing Love” a truly moving Christian song. This song really deeply touched my spirit when I heard it. The video to this particular version of “Amazing Love” is below if you want to quickly hear it now.

When I think about how much love Jesus had for me it truly is amazing. In this song it says:

“Amazing love

O what sacrifice

The Son of God

Given for me

My debt he paid

And my death he died

That I might live”

How many of us would sacrifice their life for a stranger? Jesus did. He did this so that we could have eternal life in heaven. He was the sacrificial Lamb in God’s eyes that allowed humanity passage into Heaven.  The love of Jesus is what gave us eternal life. Jesus sets our soul free from any kind of oppression! He is the key. We have to pick up that key and follow the door that He opens instead of just randomly wandering through life.

The singer in this video has a great voice, but close your eyes and just truly listen to the words. I even wept when I heard this song. I’m thankful to Martha Munizzi for singing it so well and for sharing it on YouTube. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
